The company was founded in 1920, and began by manufacturing internal combustion engines and pumps. Soon its activity was directed exclusively towards pumps.

In 1966 the firm was set up in Zarautz, where its headquarters are at present located, on 70,000 m2 of land, of which 21,000 m2 are occupied by buildings, with the possibility to expand.

From the start there has been a constant evolution in product and technology. The research conducted at new pumping solutions and the standardization of components and products has made rapid service possible, together with a high quality competitive product.
