Lutz mixing pumps MP

Numerous liquids, which are processed in industry and trade, are emulsions, dispersions or suspensions. These liquids have to be mixed and homogenised prior to further processing.

But, how can a liquid be stirred that is in a 200-litre bunghole drum ? The container openings are too small for a classical stirrer.

This is where our principle of the mixing and pumping tubes comes in as the liquids can be mixed and pumped at the same time with their help. This double-acting pump mixes liquids without cumbersome shifting before feeding them to the processing area. Flammable as well as non-flammable liquids can be handled in a very easy way without having to do without the proven modular Lutz pump tubes and motor systems.

By means of the Accessories, these pumps can be converted into complete transfer systems, of course.

High-quality materials

For handling emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, paints and varnishes, mixing pump tubes are available made of the following materials:

Polypropylene (PP) is available as a pump material to be used for mixing and pumping of neutral and aggressive media.

Stainless steel (1.4571) is available as a pump material to be used for mixing and pumping of flammable media and/or media containing mineral oil. The selection of the material depends primarily on the product to be pumped.
